I need to start learning how to use the router, does anyone know if there is anyway possible to get going w/o a huge learning curve. I would like to try it on the board I am on right now, I would appreciate any ideas.
Thanks
Steve,
Hang in there. We are developing a new BlazeRouter training course that will be available on CD-ROM in 30 days. It will have over 100 different audio/video clips on all the tips you'll need to know how to run BlazeRoute efficiently. Each video clip is about 5 minutes in length and steps you through the entire process. Even High Speed Design Rule setup and implementation will be covered.
You can watch and listen and learn at your own pace. You can stop / minimize / and actually interact with Blaze and then go back and continue the video session or rewind and review. You can go for months and not use Blaze and then just pull out the training CD and do a quick overview of the basic functions.
We will have the training videos available for PowerPCB, Blaze, Fire, CAM350, AutoCAD and many other productive tools that are really easy to use once you know the correct buttons to select.
Why travel somewhere to get two days training with hotel, rent-a-car, meals, expenses and training costs when you can just plug in the training CD in the convenience of your own home or at your office any time "that you have time". And, why spend your valuable time training your colleagues how to productively use the software tools. Just hand them a pcbstandards training CD and say "Go for it!".
Cost: $499 per CD (or you can pay more if you want to)
Also, I'm thinking about having male and female voice audio options so you can pick your trainer. It will be the perfect Christmas gift. It will be the training of choice to quickly learn any software tool. Prerequisite: Basic PCB Knowledge.
There will be a PowerPCB / CAM350 IPC-356 netlist compare training tutorial that checks for PowerPCB Negative CAM Plane errors with multiple splits (or some other tip or trick that everyone needs to know) on pcbstandards.com next week so you can start demonstrating the video training technique.

Where can I get this CD?
We have two educational CD's.
CAM350 for $99. Ready to order now.
BlazeRouter for $499. Ready to ship May 1st.
The BlazeRouter Training CD is the best training tool in the industry today. I will attach the "Table of Contents" so you can see the material that is covered in this product.
We all know that the BlazeRouter GUI is the future of the PowerPCB product. Those who learn it now will be ahead those those who don't.
I estimate that 80% of all new feature enhacements to the PowerPCB product will be added to the BlazeRoute GUI. In a couple of years, everyone will be spending more time in the BlazeRoute GUI than PowerPCB. Blaze is the future.
