I just have a question, why all the boards that i saw around designed in PowerPCB have the original titleblock? Is there any reason for that? Like a standard? I was thinking maybe to DXF in one of the templates with the border and everything on it to have it as a standard file. I don't know how PowerPCB manage the drill drawing chart yet but I like to have most of the information right there with my titleblock and border. What do you guys recommend? And why there are so many templates for Autocad? Do you guys give to the Fab house the Drill drawing in Autocad format or those templates are for interelate the mechanical and the electronic design?
Thanks for you answers in advance.

wow lot of questions
WE use a custum title block(at least the graphic next to it)
Not sure what the standard title block is my pcb default open with our title block and a full layer stack.
From what I can tell the only way to "manage" the drill chart is moving it in cam to a location that is not on top of the board out line or fab notes.
Don't know much about auto cad can't help you out with "why there are so many template". I do know, templates, in other apps make things easier. No need to reinvent a wheel every time you need a wheel.
I don't know what our cam department give the board shop, what ever it is they can build the board with it :)

A lot of it is because there are different basic layering schemes, and these layer build ups are on the drawings.
It is a lot easier to do fab drawings in AutoCad if you have it and know how to use it.
Stay tuned for more info on a new product for creating slick and easy (quick!) AutoCad drill drawings.
