I would highly recommend getting a 5 button mouse.
I saw a machine here that was hardly ever used that had one and swapped it with mine.
I have Control assigned to one key and shift to another.
This really helps me out as I am constantly trying to press two keys at the same time at full stretch of the finger and thumb.
I often went home with a sore wrist.

I've got one made by GE that has five buttons and two scroll wheels. The scroll wheel are awesome for panning. Wheel 1 - up/down. Wheel 2 - left/right. The driver lists over 50 different things to apply to the buttons.

I have been using it for a day now and the habbit to press the control key has gone.
The other good thing is you can assign the buttons differently for every program you use.

Hi All

I Have found a downside to using the 5 button mouse.
You look really stupid when using someone elses machine,
Trying to click buttons that don't exist. :)
