File Naming Conventions

Hi All,

I am trying to come up with a company wide naming convention for files. The simplest sugestion so far is partunumber_rev.xxx. What do you use and why ?

A holdover from my old DOS days.

I just use NUMBERREV.PCB

I start all PCBs with NNNNNNNX1.PCB (creating X2, X3, etc revisisons) and they get released as NNNNNNNA.PCB or I do whatever the customer tells me to. :)
