Designators

Question: What designator can I use to call a printed coil and a printed cap in my board? I'm doing some RF stuff nowand that is bugging me a lot.

If they are separate parts, I would call them L for coil and C for cap.


If they are together.... LC???

hmmmmmmm, that's what i thought but what happend when you go to the bom list? see i was thinking to called them PL or PC for printed inductor or printed cap, so in that case i know that part is custom made...hmmm, i'm still thinking about that...
