I am going to start a series called "The CID+ Study Guide". This will be educational material geared to help those PCB designers who are studying to take the CID+ Exam. I will post bits and pieces on a regular basis to help you understand the material you need to become an IPC Advanced Designer.
These threads will be geared for you to participate by asking questions when you don't totally understand the subject matter. By the end of the year, there should be enough information posted here to provide you a better chance at passing the CID+ test. I'm not insinuating that these threads are the only tool you will need but this will certainly help you understand the concepts and techniques that are required knowledge for today's advanced designer. All references that I provide will be from the IPC Advanced Study Guide. You will need to purchase the IPC study guide materials to follow along.
