Hi
I'm in the process of laying out a double sided board
with a max current of 12A. Is there any information
on calculating the size of via's to satisfy this/other ratings.
I think that roughly to work it out using 3.142 x diameter
of hole and 1/2 oz (solder thickness)copper you can then use standard conductor tables.
Alternatively is the best metod to fit a solid copper pin
in the hole. Harwin seem to have a good range but any
other suggestions would be appreciated.
I look forward to any advice
