Hey.. Fluties is a Stud. The guy wins games. This is not a great team yet, but they are a good team and on their way to the playoffs if they are bitten too bad by the injury bug.
Kansas City is better than their win-loss record indicates, so San Diego better be careful.

Was it just me or did anyone else think Flutie was tossed around the field yesterday like a little Ragdoll?

Well, I knew KC was better than their record.
San Diego looked pretty flat in the first half, coming to life in the second half. I don't think our front offensive line is the greatest, they seemed to be dominated by the KC's rush...specially number 99. He was a monster in their against Flutie.
KC also did a great job running the football. I was impressed with their ability to use SD's aggressiveness against them. The Defense overran the play a lot. Also, with Seau and Harrison hobbling around, they could not do a lot to plug up the middle or stunt with the free safety.
San Diego needs to get healthy heading to the meat of their schedule.
The positive from this game is the play of Brees and the second half effort by the Chargers. The negatives were the run defense and how we did not handle the clock well in the last 3 minutes of the game. I also think we were a bit out coached.

At this point, a team can be hugely affected by injuries, and San Diego is now in trouble with some large losses of key players.
We need Rodney Harrison back, and we need Junior healthy again.

Geez, going against Oakland this weekend will be tough. I'm actually a Pats fan, but if I were to route for a western team it, definately would be SD.

One of the first signs you have been designing too many boards, you spell root as route. :)
Yes, it will be tough, I don't have high hopes. That Oakland team is very physical and San Diego is very beat up. Good news is that Rodney Harrison might be back in a couple weeks. We could use a bye, but we got the bye at the same time the rest of the league did after Sept 11th.

Randy,
Looks like I'm gonna be yelling a healthy "Go Chargers" this weekend. How I would LOVE to see the Raiders loose two weeks in a row.

Yeah...
I know we have some key injuries, and the kicker keeps missing, and our defense can't stop the other team when it's crunch time.
Damn.... I guess this means we are not going to the playoffs.

Okay....we officially now suck.
What is funny is that we upgraded the team a lot, but just like last year we ended up being in almost every game. All of our losses this year have been by 10 points or less. If we are leading near the end, we can't hold the lead.
But there is next year....
When you can go from pcb design routing to football rooting at basically one forum!!
I got too thirsty at the beer thread. It is PLAYOFF time and for once in a modern blue moon DaBears are in them! I'd love to see Bears vs Steelers in the big show, but we may end up with with something altogether different. Todays NFL is wildly unpredictable.
The BOLTS and Jack Murphy (is it still called that?). Fun tailgating and good surroundings. Fond memories for this mid-western boy.
Well, I must get back to loading in the netlist.
Go Bears!

Those Bears are looking good. So is Pittsburgh.
Raiders are not peaking. :)
