Renaming parts in the PowerPCB library

Any easy way to rename a part or do you have to edit the part, saveas the newname, and delete the old part?

You can use the copy function of the library manager to create a re-named copy of the part and then delete the old one. Or you can export the library and use the search-and-replace function in a text editor. Neither way is very easy. I prefer the text editor as I can export part, footprint and CAE decal, change the name of all three and maintain the links within the part without ever opening the part editor.
