I'm a quite newbie in the OrCad world and I'm trying to write a macro which find parts on the schematic and add's a footprint underneath the founded component. I use the syntax FindParts but the problem is when a component doesn't exists on the schematic he gives me warning dialog boxes. I provide a macro with my libraries so all components of my lib are described in the macro. When running the macro, I have to press 1000 times OK (components not found) before the macro ends. Is there a way to supress these messages?

Regards,
Steven

Steven,

See my post just before yours.

Rather than learn visual basic and its interface (which I think -don't quote me on this - Orcad is not supporting), you've got to try the macroexpress.com demo.

If you are committed to using this macro, try cross posting to the appropriate discussion group on orcad.com

I'm convinced macroexpress is a valuable tool and so is Steve Gibbs of grc.com
