I'm sorry I can't laugh!!!! Did you see the last match? They played with 12!!!! We waisted a lot of opportunities, whe had the ball 80% of the match? maybe more, oh well, soccer is like that...But I can tell you something, those guys put everything in that match, the ball didn't want to get in. About Sweden? that team was no good compared to us, maybe I'm wrong but they won't pass the next round if they play the futbol they played against us.

Some very good teams are now out. I was sorry to see Costa Rica knocked out because they played a very entertaining and skilled game.

I wonder if betting is part of the reason for the lack of popularity in this contry. Imagine drawing high numbers, and how could you possibly set any over/under number other than 1?

I think there are many ways to bet on the World Cup if people wanted. Teams reaching the second round. Teams reaching the final four. Winner. Number of fouls, goals, yellow cards.


I think the biggest factor is a lack of understanding and familiarity with the game and the participants, and that is improving and will continue to improve.

My 18 year old daughter and her friends all watch the World Cup every night.
