Hi,
I'm a newbie currently working on a two layer board.I use CAM 350 for viewing gerbers from PADS.
Ultimately we are required to import the files into Coreldraw and send a .cdr file for plotting.
I do this by first importing .pho to CAM350.After editing I export as .gbr.Unfortunately we have not purchased the DFX export feature and can only export files in .gbr format.
I then use LinkCAD to convert these gerbers to postscript or .ps files which can be imported into Coreldraw very well.
The problem occurs when I have circles and arcs in the design. The circles disappear and the arcs get pulled into larger/smaller arcs.
Using LinkCad to convert to DXF the file imported to Coreldraw shows pads with sharp appendages.
We wish to know some way in which we may convert gerbers to a format readable by coreldraw 9.
I very much appreciate a quick reply. My yahoo chat id is kenelmlopes too.
Thanks,
Kenelm
