BGA's are taking over. When fanning out a bga can I just make one route, add a via then just copy and paste to the rest of the bga? I tried using Blaze to fanout the bga and nothing happened.

Add your via and connection to one BGA ball, then select both the via and connection with a window, hit control C, then control V and paste away. You can also copy and paste just the via if you so desire.
Dave,
You can Copy (Ctrl C) an existing trace/via fanout. You can also right mouse click after you place your first copied fanout and select "Step & Repeat". Enter a value greater than the number of vias you need. When PowerPCB gets to the end of the row it will automatically stop.
Most BGA's need to be fanned out away from the center to allow a GND/PWR path up the middle of the BGA.
One of the issues with fanning out a BGA is that some nets require different trace widths. You might want to copy a GND fanout and make the entire fanout a Power Trace Width. It doesn't hurt. Otherwise if you Copy a Signal Trace, you will be copying that trace width to BGA Power Pins also.
