I want to add some 2dline items to our library and am wondering how to add them. I have searched all over on how to do this but there isn't anywhere that describes how this is done. Any help would be appreciated.

Select the items with your cursor. You may want to choose the set your filters first.
Right Mouse Button (RMB) and select COMBINE to make it one entity if you wish (normally you do).
Shift select the combined part and RMB, SAVE TO LIBRARY.

You have more options than just saving lines. Almost any combination, including text and copper, can be saved to the library. After selecting all of the elements you want, RMB and combine. RMB again, and you can set the origin.
After loading an item from the library, it can be scaled. I now have just one format for each sheet size, B, C, and D. I load it from the library, and scale it to fit my design. The same works for logos, ESD labels, etc.

I hope I can add on to this question, I have a logo design we use at work I put on our PCB Designs. I would like to add this to the 2D line Library. My problem is I can not combine all of the logo together to save it to the library. The design consists of 2D lines and a Filled copper 'A' in the logo. The reason copper was used is because I can find NO way in PPCB to fill a 2D line like you can w/ powerlogic. The only way to create a filled object I can find is w/ using copper in powerPCB. My problem is that the copper will not combine w/ the 2D lines so I can save the Item to the library. To get around this I tried to create the item in powerlogic in 2D lines w/ a filled 2D line for the filled 'A'. It works GREAT in powerlogic but if I try to use that symbol from the library w/ PowerPCB it comes in as an UN-filled 2D line. Any ideas how to get around this problem?? TIA. Jeff.
Jeff,
What you have to do is make your logo two 2D-Line library parts with the same exact origin so that when you place the two pieces they fall in the right place.

Thank you. I thought that might be the case but my boss thought there may be another way. Anyway, Thank you for confirming my guess. Very appreciated. Jeff.

Jeff, my apologies. For some reason, I thought I could include copper while combining. Must have been a wish list idea.
But what you can do is make your logo all 2-d lines, then use the badly named Scale command to change individual shapes into copper after you load it from the library. This isn't a better idea than Tom's, just a different one.
David,
You can't combine multiple pieces of Copper together. We only have the ability to save one piece of Copper in the 2D-Line library.
