Hi all you good folks out there in Orcad Layout Land,
I'm generating IPC-D-356 netlist files and then bringing them back into Gerbtool to do the compare. The boards I design are RF boards with mostly SM components and most of the routing is on the top layer. We do not put vias where they aren't needed and we don't do ICT on the boards. So when I run the IPC-D-356 netlist compare, it's looking at the nets without vias as errors (I think... That's what it looks like, anyway).
Has anyone out there had this problem? Is there a work around?Do you still send the IPC netlist to the vendor and let them weed thru the error file? I have 3200 errors in one file!
