My company has used PADS since 1986 and now uses Logic/PowerPCB. We have recently installed Agile Anywhere software to better control documentation between engineering, manufacturing and our suppliers, but the downside to this is that there doesn't appear to be a way to make Logic and Agile talk to each other.
We are now looking at Orcad and ViewDraw for schematic capture, since there's a requirement for a variant BOM manager as well as an interface with Agile. If anyone has used either of these packages in conjunction with Agile, I'd appreciate some feedback on the pros and cons of each package.
Also, some feedback on PCB Navigator as an Orcad/PowerPCB interface would be helpful. A simple way to back annotate ref designators and gate/pin swaps is what I have in mind. Forwarding rules would be helpful, but not a necessity.
