Dear Sir!
After received our project, my Fab house reply to us that they
can not specify the style of our Drill format on my gerber data. My
Gerber data was created in Orcad Tool 9.2 and after that was opened by OrCad Gerber Tool 8.1. Could you please inform me that is it necessary to add Drill format into GerberSetup file? If we don't, can Fab. house fabricate the board ? Drill format can be added by opening Orcad gerber tool then choosing File -> Format -> Drill -> Save as.
Kindly regards and have a good working day .

You should create a seperate drill file "THRUHOLE.TAP" which is in Excellon format your FAB people should be able to read this. To do this you need to select the Create Drill File, which is an option for any layer that you are plotting.
Or Maybe you need to select the Extended Gerber Format Output for your selected layers. Get your FAB people to tell you which format of Gerber they use and do they require a seperate drill File ? Then you can setup your Post Processing like this and SAVE this setup for future use.
