Anyone have hints for using Blaze?
I am not a Blaze expert, but I know some of you are.
Here is what I do know.
Make sure your setups are correct and doable, just like any autorouter. If your grid, line width, or spacing makes the design impossible, it is not going to route.
Make sure the layers are set to route. Make sure you have vias available for those layers and they are the right size.
Check the routing direction of your layers.
Set Optimize to HIGH in Blaze.
You can also use Blaze to route more interactively, by net and by component. I find it useful to do this with large components with a lot of pins. Route them first, then route the rest in full batch mode.
