I'm using PADS Version 9.3, and I have a problem setting the differential pair
widths.
The "All Layers," category, wants to drive the standard design rules. When I try to add the width and spacing to the category, "Internaly Layers," or "Outer Layers," it won't allow me, but wants the same width's as in the standard design rules.
If I make a class, and add the spacing for the "class," which is different than the standard, then the diff pair set up, wants the rules from the "class" set up.
Also, I have diff pairs in a set. So if I have 6 diff pairs and the phase space is say 5.95 mills, and the delay for the group of 6 nets is say 294 mills, the latium space check will check the diff pair phase of 5.95, but ignore the group of 294.
It seems PADS has really dropped the ball when it comes to rounting hi-speed boards.
