hi all,
please do accept my new year wishes. i am new to this forum and to this pcb design area. i want to have a board designed for myself personally and the files which i have for this are

.sch (schematic files)
.net (netlist files)

my question is

without .gbr (gerber files) and .pcb (pcb files) and using only .sch and .net files..is a printed circuit board design ..possible??

sorry..as i tell again...my question are very basic..but plz understand..i am new to this pcb design field..

thanks and regards

Yes, if someone has the proper program to read the SCH file. Then you only need to know the size of the board and any contraints on it, like fixed part or connector locations.

You will need to have someone make a bill of material, but that should be able to be done from the schematic.

hi randy chase,
i have BOM with me and all component list and yes i can obtain the board also..its very expensive (2,700 dollars)..but.yes..i can obtain.it..so using the .sch and .net..files..i can make a board designed right..

can you please elaborate a bit on the constraints you told (any contraints on it, like fixed part or connector locations.)

thanks a lot

with warm regards
