I have a question which members of this group may be able to answer. Can anyone tell me what standards people use when designing PCBs for use in automotive electronics; e.g. electronic wipers or steering systems (under the hood application).

I have researched SAE's website as well as a number of others but can find no clear guidance. I can only guess that perhaps MIL-P-55110 or IPC-D-275 would be helpful, but it would be nice to hear from someone with automotive design experience.

Thanks in advance for any assistance anyone can provide.
