How to generate teardrops on vias only?

How does one generate teardrops on vias only?
(Or remove teardrops from all non-via pads)

Since teardrops seem to be associated with the trace and not the via, it's not as simple as just selecting all the vias doing a Q/M.

I know I have done this before, but for the life of me I can't figure out how I did it...

I think it goes like this.

Set all the design to teardrops using the SETUP, PREFERENCES box.

That will turn teardrops on for pads and vias.

Now back to your design, in cursor arrow mode (no action selected), use filter to turn off everything (right mouse button) except for PINS.

Select all pins. Right Mouse Button, Query/Modify, and uncheck the teardrops box.

This works, UNLESS you have some pins that are not connected (i.e. no net assigned). If there are any unconnected pins selected for the Q/M the teardrops box is grey out... Oh well, nothing quite like manually tweeking hundreds of pins...

Ack. That sucks. I don't know of any other way.
