Hi, im new to PCB design. Just so I can come up to speed quick and not make any newbie mistakes, can I ask you guys a few questions?

1. What was your biggest 3 mistakes designing and why?
2. most popular software that you use and why
3. Biggest 3 frustrations about PCB design?
4. Biggest 3 fears (maybe related to PCB Assembly)?

I dont want to think of 3 but here is one for each:

1. one is not having a proper release process.

2. Allegro and Expedition

3. Damn engineers!

4. Loading a connector backwards

Gizmo,

You left out the infamous diode pin-numbering issue, this one still persists.

Howzit!

I designed my layout with ExpressPCB 6.1.1. I need to know how to convert the files to gerber.
Can anybody please help with this design?

Thanx.

Have you been following the thread under "Word of Mouth"?

The title is "ExpressPCB to gerber or gerber file modification".

Good Luck!
