PCB Layer Stackup Design

Hi,

I am doing a 4-layer board of thickness 0.5mm.
It will have two signal layers and two power layers or three signal and one power layer set up.

Impedance matching of the traces is a critical issue here.

I would like to know what are the standard stackups available for a board of the above specs, using which I can calculate the impedance and stuff.

Are there any guidelines while determining the copper, prepeg and core thickness for each layer?

Your best bet would be to talk with your board fabricator and ask these same questions. There are standard thickness cores to start from and they would know best as to the stackup thicknesses.
