So I received two netlist files and was asked to compare them and see the differences.
It's the same board but with new components in the schematics for one.
I jump on the net to see what is out there and all i find is a vague reference to DeltaNET by RSI but thats it.....
What do you all use?
PS I kinda guessed what forum to put this in so if this isnt the right one feel free to move it.....

CADpro's NETCHECK tools. I think it is no longer a commercial bit of software as the company went out of business.
Let me see if I can upload it.

Hi,
I have registered a copy of CADPRO Systems Net check tool v 4.1.10.1
Was banking on the tool to do netlist comparision for a huge n/w switch board design(Mentor's Board station for schematics) and the newly upgraded one (Mentor's Board ststion sch).
But the tool is not responding to the Mentor generated .net (netlist) files.Nether is it converting mentor to any other netlist format .
It seems tool is unable to read the files generated by board station.
What are my options ?
Manual netlist comparision isnt'a nightmare , its suicidal !

With BS you really don't have a traditional netlist, it's separated into 2 different file, nets and comps - with no file extension if I recall, I'm not familiar with CadPro's software, you can ask over at PCBMatrix - Tom Hausher was CadPro, I think, but if I recall RSI's DeltaNet would do the job, unfortunately they were bought out by Mentor and that would surely draw a response to your question like this "We can do that for you for $$$$$$$".

It was rush hour and I was dashing to a train in New York City's Grand Central Terminal - As I neared the gate, a plump, middle-aged woman sprinted up from behind, lost her footing on the smooth marble floor and slid onto her back. Her momentum carried her close to my shoes. Before I could help her, however, she had scrambled up. Gaining her composure, she winked at me and said, "Do you always have beautiful women failing at your feet?"
