Hi all,

can anyone clear me what is meant by zero component orientation in pcb?

will it come into account during pcb assembly process?.

i need some detail information about this.

It means the default rotation of the part in your design. If you design a part in the cad library, such as a diode, with the cathode up...then a zero rotation insertion is with the part with the cathode up.

If you rotate the part on the design 90 degrees, then the insertion information must also reflect that.

Does anyone know if there are IPC component zero orientations for through-hole components?

I found a lot of documentation for IPC surface mount zero orientations, but can't seem to find any for through-hole.
