PCAD to PADS translation

Hai,

We want to convert the pcad design file into PADS design file. We are trying for conversion into pads with mentor translators. It is asking Pcad Layer Configuration file along with Design file. As we don't know Pcad, If any body knows about this config file and how to generate it , please inform us.

It works, i would have to pull up a design again to see what config youre stuck on. I know PADS seem to be pretty picky on the EDIF files.

Sometimes by the time i get all the translations issues sorted out it would have just been more cost effective to re layout the board. :rolleyes:
