Location, location, location, it's all about location. There are plenty of job shops right here in the states. Sure, they may be more expensive in the short term, but they're gonna be less expensive in the long term. Buy American first!

I am afraid I couldn't agree with you. I have been staying in USA for more than 10 years and did a lot of PCB design project and also ordered a lot of PCB manufacutring service in USA.

To be honest, the PCB manufactiring of China has better performance in the quality, cost and leading time than USA. That's why I found up Synkore hoping to build a bridge for those people who hope to get the more cost-effective and high quality PCB manufacturing service. We'll just have to agree to disagree then. The results I've seen from offshore houses is well below the results I've seen from US houses, not just in fab, but in assembly and design as well. Sure the US houses are more expensive, but it's been my experience that you get what you pay for.

Are there bad US houses? Sure. Are there good offshore houses? Sure. What I've seen is that the percentages play out far better on-shore than off.
