View Full Version : Copper pour flooding over SMT pads of same net.

I have copper pour (net = GND) on top and bottom of a board, and when I flood, ALL SMT pads are flooded over. I have checked all the usual things: rules, drafting preferences (no flood over checked). I even tried setting a clearance rule, but the pour still floods over the pads. This is strictly a copper pour board, no CAM planes used.

There are multiple pad shapes that can be selected in the Preferences/Thermals tab for non-drilled thermals.

Chuck, make sure that you toggled the correct pad shapes under PREFERENCES, THERMALS. The SM pads menu shows the RND pad as default, make sure you uncheck the flood over box for the different pad shapes.
If it's not that.... I have no idea! Maybe someone else will have a thought.
P.S. Welcome to the forum!

Yes, that was it. I found that right after I posted this. Thanks.
