While trying to place components in pads by cross probing to Power logic my move button gets greyed out after a few moves.
Mentor Tech support acknowledged it's the same problem with Viewdraw http://www.mentor.com/supportnet/member/technotes/public/defect/mg23952.html
but it does not have any priority. The solution is to shut down and re-open Pads. I do this every hour while placing parts. I know there must be a better way. I could look at the schematic but keep cross probing off and search for the part in PadsLayout. Can I have some advice? How does everyone else place parts?
