Tom
do you have any information on using an aluminum backed or core
pcb material needed for heat transfer 200 amp or any ideas on any other material that could be used.
thank you
Gerald,
Whenever I am faced with a "Heat Transfer" situation I always pick up the phone and call Rick Norfolk at Hallmark Circuits 858.513.2200 x8760. Rick is the "Sales Applications Engineer" and knows all the latest materials and heat disipation solutions.
I have heard of via stitching coupled with "Silver Fill" technique as a cheaper alternative than Aluminum Core.
Unfortunately Wind River does not do many Power Supply Boards and my personal knowledge and expertise is not in that area. A friend of mine Ed Current at C & D Technologies - 520.295.4167 designs Power Supply Boards every day. Ed normally enjoys helping other PCB designers and I'm sure that he has run across this issue in the past and has several solutions.
