View Full Version : pcbstandards library?
Tom,
Where is the decal library on pcbstandards.com? I can't seem to locate it....
thanks,
Dan
Dan,
Go to the "SITE INDEX" and scroll down to the bottom and you will find the padspwr folder. It looks like this:
padspwr
CAM - CAM Files
Files - Start Files
Lib - 15 Libraries
Ole - 50 VB Scripts
powerpcb - CCF's, FMT's, ASC's
The best thing is to order a $25 CD-ROM of the entire website. It contains over 2,200 files, all relating to PowerPCB and PCB Design to help you increase your productivity levels.
Or you can e-mail me and tell me what your interested in and I will e-mail it to you.
Thanks Tom,
When I look under there and hit lib the only thing there seems to be is connectors, Amp, Molex, etc.
I'm just looking for a SOT-223? Can you point me there?
Not sure I'd get the CD yet, till I can get myself around a little easier in this web site.
many thanks again,
Dan
Dan,
Send me an e-mail. Tell me what version of PowerPCB (V3 or V4) and let me know what you are interested in (SOT-223) and I will send it to you. Check out our documentation for the SOT-223 in the attached zip file. We have hundreds of sheets that describe every standard component and all the decals are built and ready to use - for free.
Dan,
Here is your SOT-223 in a V3.5 ASCII file. Just import the ASCII file.
We took the V3 libraries off the pcbstandards website because we are no longer updating or improving them. I highly recommend that you upgrade to V4.0.1.

Actually, I placed the Version 3.6 libraries in the V36 lib subdirectory.

http://www.pcbstandards.org/downloads/v3/
Tom, please e-mail the V36 CAM and Start files and I will add them to the site also. I lost them in the Great Computer Crisis of 2001 I went through in December. :)
P.S. Dan, the lib you are looking for is the SMN.lib
