Did you hear about the "NeverEverNoSanity" worm that attacked php BB's using Google about a week ago?

it defaced one of my favorite private BB's.

Yes. There were also some vulnerability issues in any PHP forum (this is one), but that phBB had some real problems. We upgraded our PHP on the server to thwart any problems.

One reason I use Vbulletin is because they have the staff to keep updates and patches coming, because we pay for the licenses.

On my list of things to do, now that the domains have been moved to a new server, is to upgrade to the latest V3 or VB.
