Extract Data

I have a test house that is looking for data to be extracted from my .brd file. They want .pad, .sym and .rte data. In the past I was given files to run extract in the format that they want. I am now dealing with guys in Ireland and I am not getting anywhere with them. Has anyone done this before? Any input is appreciated.

Not sure about Allegro but

Can you extract IPC netlist from Allegro?
Or use CAM350 to extract from the gerber data.

you can get symbol,pad files in cadence . in file menu export librires it will save .sym and .pad files and export to spectra,to get .rte file

Hi,

This might getyou what you're after, but I'm really not sure what the test guys are asking for. Get this .zip file, read the doc file in it, run it, send Ireland the .CAM file, and see what their response is. I've used this for a number of CAM issues. It's most like what PADS can output (an ASCII file of the allegro database).
