High speed design querries

Hi,

I am currently using PADS powerPCB v4.Is high speed design with length considerations possible in this version?By length considerations i mean the spiral pattern(accordians) generated automatically by the software.If its not possible in this version kindly let me know how to go abt it in higher versions.

Currently i am designing the backplane(6-layer) for a router.Could u please suggest me the most recommended layer stackup for the design?

hi,

In pads ver4 u can't do the spiral tunning for the constraint net

this option is there in cadence allegro ver15.2

plz find the below stackup for 6 layers

top
gnd
sig1
sig2
pwr
bottom

the highspeed signals can be routed in all the layers with this stackup ,coz this stackup provides reference plane for all the layers
