Questions:
Does anyone use Valor for DFM before sending files to their vendor, if not, do you do anything to verify the integrity of your files?
Anyone use ODB++?
How are you guys controlling things like gerbers, ncdrills, IPC netlists, etc.?
Our process:(which I don't think is perfect)
1234000C.brd - Allegro board file
1234001A.pdf - fabrication drawing, pdf'd from Allegro
1234002B.pdf - Assembly drawing, pdf'd from Allegro
1234001A_1234002B.zip - zip file containing all gerber, net list,etc.
All the gerber layers are named and rev controlled on the fab drawing, but the ncdrill, placement or IPC netlist files are not.
