Hi jasmine,
you can adjust the film size..
if you see in manufacturing/artwork press tab general parameters you can give film size limits by default it will be 24x16 inches..
if your question is something different from this pls let me know exactly where you are facing the problems..

Hi Jasmine,
Don't even worry about your Artwork Size, unless you're using the PhotoPlot Outline also (the only time I use a Photoplot Outline is when I do negative layers, so it doesn't make a huge gerber file. Positive layers don't matter)
When I add any artwork layers the only thing I set is 'undefined line width' to some value (5, 6, 8, 10, whatever); and make sure if it's positive or negative. The rest of the settings I'll leave alone. But, make sure you go into FILM/PARAMETERS and set gerber 274X and the format (i.e. 2,4 or 3,4 or 3,5). Right now I use MILS with 2 decimal precision, and have my artwork format at 3,5 Always works.
Good day.
(With most things Cadence, I try to stick with DEFAULT settings, unless I know exactly what I'm asking for by changing a setting...)

Dont really worry about the drawing size. First confirm in which format you want to generate the gerbers is it D-format or the extended format and you can set this while doing your plot setup in artwork parameters.
