It’s the first time I have designed devices like SMD and CI type
SOIC. I use OrCAD Capture and Layout V.9, the smallest CI has
0.65mm pitch and 0.32mm lead width.
I have imported the netlist to Layout and what I don’t know are the values to use to configurethe System Grid, the Global Spacing, the Nets and the Vias.
What values do you recommend that I use for an optimal design?
I work with top, bottom, power and ground layers. All of the
units are metric. The supply to the components is 3.3V and 5V
for others.
