When I create a PDF from PowerLogic (by printing to Adobe Acrobat's PDF "printer" (AKA "Acrobat Distiller"), PowerLogic adds an excessively large margin around the title block, even when I have set justification to "scale to fit". If I have the "plot jobname" option checked, the jobname and datestamp print right at the upper left edge of the page, but there is still a huge margin added around the title block.

Has anyone elsed observered this behavior? Do you know of a work-around?

I have a Service Request in with Mentor, but thay claim not to be able to repeat the problem. I can repeat this problem with the standard title blocks, or even just a bare document with a rectangle drawn on the sheet.

I'm using the latest version of PowerLogic and Adobe Acrobat, although I had the same problem with Powerlogic 5.01 and Acrobat 5.

Interesting. What is your format size in Plogic and what is your paper size in Acrobat?

Title block or the drawing? In Acrobat under documents there is a crop pages command with a block to check to remove white outer borders. Works excellent!

After more testing, I realize that this is not just a PDF problem. It is using the "scale to fit" option. Please see my latest post...
