Here is what I want to do:
In my design, there are a huge number of 8-bit signal sets whose label names differ from each other by only one or two characters. I'd like to save time by copying a signal set and batch-replacing the relevant parts of the names to create the new names. I cannot treat these as buses in the usual sense, because the numeric portion or "bit number" does not sit in the last-character position in the signal name. In orcad I could have ctrl-click selected a set of labels and brought them up in a spreadsheet for easy editing; no such luck in viewdraw... or is there???? How shall I do this?
