Hi,
I have designed a microstrip band pass filter with trimmer ended stubs.
It
has a bandwidth of 500 MHz and a center frequency of 3 GHz. Also I have
simulated it in Microwave office. The results were satisfactory. Now
I'm
concerned if I get those results in practice. Especially I wonder if
soldering the trimmers or their lead length can affect the response. Should I
consider some changes in my design (e.g. changes in stub lengths or
corners)
for any kind of compensation?
Do you know any document that can help me in these areas?
Thanks in advance.
