Hi all,
I'm hoping to poll all board vendors out there:
Our fab drawings do not specify the type of solder to use for finish. We only say HASL finish and the final copper weight we require.
How wide a rage of finishes are we opening ourselves up for?
What % of tin/lead is allowed under this finish spec?
Trace width calculators never ask what type of finish is used before doing thier calculations. Do the finishes vary in conductivity my much?
