Hi, I have a number of files from a client I need to work with. Each
project is zipped up. What we do know is that it was created with a
Mentor product.

The zip files contain a LOT of files. Here are just a small number of
them as examples-

netcon.2.smbl_1
netcon.2.mgc_symbol.attr
11.symbl_1
11.mgc_symbol.attr
part.part_1
dcs.temp
fablink.env
fablink_package.env.bak
librarian.env
conn_symbol.mgc_component.attr
sc735365.pl
pathlist.no_annotations
sc365s01.907
artwork_4
drill_table.apertt_1

This one board has 138 files. Soooo....

Which software is this? Does it really require all these files? How
could I view them?

Thanks!

With a fablink file it looks like board station
You need to have the whole container (ie Mentor talk for dir)
The system needs to see containers and complete ones for it to work.
Fun stuff, that's why boardstation designers get the big bucks..
