Import dxf file from Solid designer

Import dxf file from Solid designer

I have enounter an error when importing a dxf file from Solid designer into powerpcb ver 5.01.

The error message is "Max database coordinate exceeded. One possible cause for this error is when dxf is imported
with different units then it was exported."

I have try to change the unit but still not successful.


I do not have any problem with importing dxf previously with file file PRO-E.

Any one able to import dxf from Solid Designer with no problem.

This is normally a problem between mils and inches. They have to be the same.

Hi,
According to the mechanical, the unit is mm. I try in powerpcb with all the units(mm,inch.mil) but still can't import.
I got help from one of my friend who uses Pro-E and he export my file from Pro-E and I can then open with no problem.

I like to know what's wrong with dxf from Solid designer cause I dun want to get help everytime I need to import dxf.
