I can do translations as well. I have quite a few of the RSI translator tools at my disposal, as well as custom tools we have written.

However, I have been unable to get the PADS to Orcad to work on at least one file I have been trying. Seems that the newer version of Orcad layout have a bug in them, or require an older version of Pads than I am able to create.

I am interested in translating Allegro/APD 15.0 with Constraint Manager information into PadsPowerPCB5.01.
With what ever electrical rules from CM are possible to port.
And then to Pads to Allegro as well.

I have tried the RSI translators in the past and had limited success in complete translations.

Can anyone report there experience using the RSI translator for Allegro to/from PowerPCB?

How well did it work? What is Accurate? Could it do power planes? Does it auto generate needed padstacks?
Can it manage the various layer mapping?
Will rules come through as well as X-Y CAD data?
