Layer Associations

I wish there were more than four Layer Associations available (like 8-10 would be good) and that you could select multiple layers from the combo box to associate to each Layer Association type.

For instance, all of our through hole components are hand inserted, so we need a silk screen for them. Sometimes we want a silk screen on surface mount components as well. I would like to set up a TH SS Top and Bottom layer and a SM SS Top and Bottom layer and be able to associate them all to the proper electrical layers so that the TH/SM SS Top toggles to TH/SS Bottom when the component is flipped to the other side of the board. This also could be applied to items like carbon screen, etc.

I totally agree with you that PowerPCB needs more layer associations. Carbon Ink and Selective Gold are just two of the many things we use on PCBs where Innoveda does not support layer associations. We'll have to add this to the wish list.
