Top 10 Wishlist Development Starts Today for Viewdraw/ePD/DxDesigner

Mentor Marketing has asked the DxDesigner User Group to assist them in
developing a Top 10 Wishlist for ePD/DxDesigner/Viewdraw similar to the
formats that were used for Pads PowerPCB.

Now is your Chance to have your input heard! Send your requests for new
features and program changes to dxdesigner@yahoo.com (Dxdesigner @
Yahoo.com) by June 9, 2003. Please be as detailed as possible in your
desires, including possible means to implement the feature. The user group
moderators and Mentor Marketing will sort the wishlist requests and then
develop a voting list. The Voting list will then be posted around June 15,
and You, the users of DxDesigner will vote on your top new features to be
implemented!

The long awaited Viewdraw enhancement wishlist is finally here!

Please forward this file to anyone using Viewdraw and request they vote for their top 10 feature enhancements!

To date, June 26, 2003, 8 am, 41 ballots have been recieved and counted. My goal is to get at least 100 valid ballots returned, so if you voted, please forward on the survey to someone else!

FYI The top issue has 19 votes, almost half of the voters have voted for this one issue! The next highest vote is 15 votes, 13, 12, and 3 eleven vote issues, respectively!

The results of the ballot can be found at the link below. There were 74 unique ballots returned with items #1 and #20 recieving the top votes with 31 votes each.

Mentor Graphics marketing has already expressed to me how similar the voting patterns of the group are to the opinions of the application engineers.

Mentor Graphics is now reviewing the ballots with engineering to
determine how best and when your desired features can be implemented.
