I am looking into a new schematic design software. Currently we are using PowerLogic, but the other choices are DxDesigner, ViewDraw or Orcad Capture.
I am using this software to create schematics that will be incorporated into creating PCB's in PADS. However, our Electrical shop needs to start creating "ladder" logic diagrams that really don't need any pre-made parts. They sorta just use a bunch of lines and text. They prefer to use Capture to do this because PowerLogic doesn't do this very well.
What are all your thoughts of my situation? If worse comes to worse, I will be using Capture with Allegro. That would be bad for me. Very Bad ;(
Any feedback would be great.
Thanks
