Symbols or Letters for Drill Locations?
Decimal or Metric Dimensions?
Impedance Chart or Drawing Note?
Geometric Tolerance?

Do you instruct the vendor to mark the dwg rev. letter
on the board or do you put it on the artwork yourself?

Anyone still use the top layer artwork in the Fab. drawing?

Let's hear what everyone prefers.

>>Symbols or Letters for Drill Locations?
Normally letters, A-Z

>>Decimal or Metric Dimensions?
Inch with Metric as reference

>>Impedance Chart or Drawing Note?
Always an impedance note. (e.g. Impedance requirement: .005 traces on layers 1 and 12 are to be 50 ohms, +/- 10%.

>>Geometric Tolerance?
Old, I normally will only call out for the board to be fab'd per IPCxxx

>>Do you instruct the vendor to mark the dwg rev. letter
>>on the board or do you put it on the artwork yourself?
Bare board rev on the artwork. Assy rev letter is marked by the assy house in a "mark here" note.

What? Got me here. We translate to AutoCad for the fab drawing, which is just Hole size; Hole count; Plated?; Dimensioned; and hole legends A-Z
