Hi,

Let say if I were to purchase PowerPCB BlazeRouter with only 4 layers, can I manually route the rest of the layers ?

For example, if I have a 6 layer design, can I auto route the 4 layers and manual route the last 2 layers ?

Thanks

Best Regards

PowerPCB does not count Plane Layers as Routing Layers. So if you have an 8 layer board with 4 planes and 4 routing layers, BlazeRoute will route the entire board.

I don't think Blaze will allow you to route just four layers. It will see the board as a six-layer board and refuse to load it. You can however define two layers as plane layers, let Blaze do it's thing, then change the plane layersback to routing layers.
